Your first site

After billing attaches, xTerminal provisions the dashboard for that site. The site on the public web is still a custom project. Signing up does not generate pages. Someone has to connect the live site to this dashboard.

A site you bring, or one a developer builds

Bring a site a developer already built, or have a developer start from the template and connect it. Either way, the owner runs content, leads, and Requests from the dashboard. The code stays with the developer.

• xTerminal does not include a website at signup.
• The public URL is whatever the developer deployed.
• The dashboard is how you run that site after connect.

Connect it to the dashboard

The developer wires the site: environment values, contact forms, and content that should read from this dashboard. Owners do not do that in GitHub. If you invited a developer, they see setup from their seat, including a Site template card on the home dashboard.

1. Invite the person who built (or will build) the site. Use Invite teammates at the end of signup, or Settings, Team later.
2. They sign in, finish any first-login steps, and open the site in the sidebar.
3. They connect the live project and confirm forms and content talk to this dashboard.

What you run from here

Once the site is connected, the owner surface is the dashboard. Switch sites from the name at the top of the sidebar if you have more than one.

• Home: the site you are running, plus setup cards when they apply.
• Content you turned on: blog, team, menu, and other types.
• Inbox for form leads. Pipeline when that tool is on.
• Requests, when the site is entitled and Show Requests is on.
• Settings for Team, billing, profile, and (for admin or developer) worker connection.

What you do next

• Try a small content edit yourself, such as a blog draft or a team photo.
• Send a test note from the public contact form and find it in Inbox.
• On Managed, file a Request for anything Edit cannot do.

Adding another site

The sidebar site menu includes Add new site. You name it and pick a path. Foundation and Advanced go through checkout when those prices exist. Managed follows Stripe when Managed prices are set; when they are not, an already-authenticated owner can activate the extra site without a second marketing checkout. Each site has its own billing and its own people.
